KlappentextThe Red Cliffs of Roussillon is the story of two women and their love for the same man.

Maureen, Gérard’s English wife, is a ceramic artist with a deep affinity with her surroundings. She was young and impulsive when she first came to the Luberon, and she was quickly swept off her feet by his sophistication and his irresistible Gallic charm. However as she acquires strength and self-awareness through childbirth, motherhood and her creative profession, the original imbalance in their relationship is redressed, and Gérard begins to feel insecure.

During a short stay at the spa resort of Evian on Lake Geneva, he begins an affair with Delphine, an attractive widow who longs for a strong shoulder to lean on.
Unaware that Gérard has lied to her about his situation, Delphine drives south to visit him, only to learn that he has left without warning and is not expected to return.

Brought together by unforeseen circumstances, both women must adjust to a new situation. Yet in the golden autumn light of Provence each finds a way to come to terms with the past and return to the present.
